City Wine Collection offers temperature and humidity controlled storage for our private customers' reserve wines. These wines are kept at Vinothèque, the HM Revenue & Customs registered warehouse in Burton-upon-Trent (see www.vinotheque.co.uk for storage conditions in this 19th century grade II listed industrial building).The cost of storage is £ 0.75 per calendar month + VAT per case of 12 bottles.

Six bottle cases are charged at £ 0.38 each + VAT. PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS 6 HALF-CASE RATE APPLIES ONLY TO THE ORIGINAL SIX-BOTTLE PACKS. HALF-EMPTY 12 BOTTLE CASES OR MIXED BOTTLES CASES WILL BE CHARGED AT FULL CASE PRICE.

The storage is charged for one year or part year in advance, from 1 April or any date during the year until the end of March the following year. Any storage charged for wines released from storage during the year (April to April) will be credited from the end of the month in which the wines were released. The price includes insurance at full replacement value.

All private reserve wines are clearly labeled with HM Revenue & Customs approved rotation numbers which provides perfect provenance for long term storage.

We expect to have online access for Private customers to wines stored at Vinotheque by the end of the year via our website login. This service will be free of charge. The storage is available for both under bond and duty paid wines. Our customers can also store wines purchased from other suppliers.

PLEASE NOTE THAT OUR PRIVATE CUSTOMERS RESERVE WINES ARE STORED IN A DIFFERENT WAREHOUSE TO OUR TRADING STOCK WHICH IS STORED AT LONDON CITY BOND IN EAST LONDON.
